Originally established as a motor repair shop in 1943, Volland has since diversified to meet the needs of our customers. We now offer custom designed and manufactured control panels in addition to a plethora of services in the crane & hoist realm. If we listed out all of our services, you would be reading for quite a long time, so we hope our brief examples and images give you an idea of the extensive capabilities that we have. Motor Repair Division
“The Motor Shop”
Volland Electric’s motor repair shop has been in operation in Buffalo, NY since 1943. Whether your motor is AC or DC, large or small, needs a rewind, mechanical repairs and/or reconditioning service, you’re in great hands. We also have you covered with field services such as testing, troubleshooting, inspection, vibration analysis, laser-alignment and IR thermography. Volland is the only motor shop in WNY with vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI) capability. Please come visit our facility! No matter what type of crane and hoist equipment you use our skilled technicians are well-versed in all major brands and can provide impartial, constructive advice.
Industrial Controls Division
“The Panel Shop”
With experienced onsite engineering and AutoCAD capabilities, Volland has solutions for a wide variety of applications and industries. We provide UL listed custom built control panels for the US and Canada. You can be assured your electrical equipment will utilize the proper components, have the correct environmental rating, wiring/protection, and safety conformance to NEC and CEC electrical codes. Our system integrators have experience working with many manufacture’s controllers and interfaces. Additional capabilities include PLC\HMI Software Development and Automation Troubleshooting. Being a distributor of many major components, (Eaton, Siemens, Yaskawa, WEG, many others) will help reduce your cost. Volland can take your project from inception, through design, building, testing, and installation.
