Volland Electric has added 2 new UL listings to it's Industrial Controls Division. In addition to being a UL/cUL 508A (Industrial Control Panels for US and Canada) certified panel shop, Volland is now listed as UL698A, NRBX (Industrial Control Panels relating to Hazardous Locations for US and Canada) and Class 1, NNNY (Industrial Control Panels and Assemblies for use in Hazardous locations).
Volland Electric has hired Dave Kothan and Tom Galley as motor shop service technicians. Both gentlemen have been in the industry for 20+ years and come with a wealth of knowledge. With the hiring of these 2 guys, Volland Electric further deepens it's expertise in the electro/mechanical field. Buffalo, NY, Volland Electric Equipment Corp. is pleased to announce that it has opened an Eastern NY sales office outside of Albany, NY with the hiring of the former employees of EIS (Empire Industrial Sales) and the acquisition of their product lines. The combination of Volland Electric and EIS's product lines will make them a significantly more diversified company.
Volland will operate the Eastern NY sales office in Saratoga Springs, NY and is headquartered on Innsbruck Drive in Cheektowaga, NY. Volland also operates two facilities on Niagara Street in Buffalo, NY.
